On August 9, 2024, Mr. Natthachai Nampoonsuksan, Governor of Phetchaburi Province, Phra Phiphit Phacharodom, Deputy Ecclesiastical Provincial Abbot of Phetchaburi Province, Abbot of Wat Phra Rup, Buddhist monks, Mrs. Panchita Nampoonsuksan, President of the Phetchaburi Red Cross, government officials and officials participated in the Buddhist chanting ceremony to celebrate the Chiang Saen Buddha image, the Kanthararat Buddha image, and the Somdej Tangmo statue at Wat Yai Suwannaram Worawihan, in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, at Wat Yai Suwannaram Worawihan, Mueang District, Phetchaburi Province.
Mr. Natthachai Nampoonsuksan, Governor of Phetchaburi Province, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by civil servants and officials to offer royal merit and express their loyalty to the monarchy.
Mr. Natthachai Nampoonsuksan, President of the Lay Sector, led civil servants in a religious ceremony, lighting incense and candles to pay homage to the Triple Gem and paying homage. The ceremony included the opening of a flower-, incense-, and candle-shaped raft in front of a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, and leading a prayer of good wishes for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. Monks chanted Buddhist prayers to offer blessings. Officials invoked the precepts, and participants chanted prayers to offer merit and poured water to receive blessings.
